CalEITC4Me is a groundbreaking, public-private program focused on the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC), a cashback tax credit that puts money back into the pockets of low-income Californians.
Our multi-channel, multicultural outreach campaign builds awareness of and claims for the CalEITC each year.
While any adult with an income under $30,000 can qualify for the CalEITC, we focus on the hardest to reach Californians who typically don’t file taxes or claim the credit, including:
- Single mothers of color
- People who earn less than $12,000
- Seniors who earn less than $13,850
- People with limited English proficiency
- People who are newly eligible for CalEITC, including young people and immigrants who use Individual Tax Identification Numbers (ITIN)
